Tamu Dhin Japan is non-partisan and non-profit making Gurung indigenous peoples’ organization established in 1995. Tamu Dhin Japan is a common and representative organization of Gurung indigenous peoples of Nepal living in Japan.
Welcome to Tamu Dhin Japan a community organization created to bring together the Tamu (Gurung) people living in Japan. We are committed to preserving our culture, traditions, language, and identity while building a strong, supportive, and united community abroad.
Our organization serves as a platform where members can connect, celebrate our heritage, and support one another through cultural programs, social activities, sports events, youth engagement, and community initiatives. We believe that staying connected to our roots is important for future generations growing up away from Nepal.
At Tamu Dhin Japan, we proudly organize traditional festivals, cultural performances, community gatherings, educational activities, and sports tournaments that strengthen friendship and unity within the Nepali community in Japan.
Our goal is not only to preserve Tamu culture but also to promote harmony, cooperation, and mutual respect among all communities living in Japan.
